Formation & Leadership Cohort

A Leadership Experience Within GateCity School of Discipleship

Leadership was never meant to be separated from discipleship.

The Formation & Leadership Cohort is a new leadership experience within GateCity School of Discipleship, led by Billy Humphrey, for ministry and marketplace leaders who desire to grow deeper in spiritual formation while leading from a place of God's presence.

This cohort is designed to create a smaller, more intentional environment where leaders can receive additional investment, encouragement, and leadership formation alongside the full Gate City School of Discipleship experience.

Who Is It For?

This cohort is for leaders who are currently serving or actively preparing to serve in leadership, including:

  • Pastors

  • Church and ministry staff

  • Prayer and worship leaders

  • Marketplace leaders

  • Business owners

  • Nonprofit leaders

  • Emerging leaders

Participation is limited to 15 leaders to cultivate meaningful relationships and intentional investment throughout the school year.

What to Expect

In addition to everything included in GateCity School of Discipleship, cohort participants will receive:

  • Monthly leadership Zoom calls with Billy Humphrey

  • Sunday Office Hours

  • A private leadership community

  • Occasional guest leader roundtables

  • Leadership-focused reading

  • An opportunity to connect in person at the Presence Centered Church Conference

Important

The Formation & Leadership Cohort is not a standalone program.

It is a specialized leadership track within GateCity School of Discipleship. To be considered for the cohort, you must first apply to and be accepted into GateCity School of Discipleship. Once accepted, you'll be invited to complete the Formation & Leadership Cohort application.
